There once lived a very silly girl. What a silly girl she was. She held out her hand, and someone took a hold of it. The only problem was, they let go when she was dangling over a cliff. Then being the silly she was, she held out her hand again. And yet again, her hand was let go.

Now the silly girl thought she had learnt her lesson. She didn’t hold her hand out again. Instead she thought that she would wait until someone reached a hand out for her. But much to her dismay, no one ever offered. Now the silly girl became very sad. She decided that she would be better off alone. She vowed that she wouldn’t associate herself with society anymore.

But the silly girl was being silly again. She didn’t know that shutting yourself out from the world was a really, really hard job. It was more difficult than she thought. Everyone began to spite the silly girl. No one gave her anything; no one even spared her a look. They talked trash about her, not caring if she stood beside them. They ignored her silly presence completely.

Our silly girl suffered alone, the black seeds of sorrow permanently sown in her silly heart.

Our silly girl was all alone.

Our silly girl was on her own.

Our silly girl became depressed, and very, very lonely. She didn’t want anyone’s help, but it’s not like anyone offered anyway.

She sat at the back, she ate all alone, she was always picked last, and she was always discarded first.

Now she had made friends. Friends with anguish, misery, loneliness and even helplessness.

She had turned bitter. When people were genuinely worried, she would refuse their concern. When they truly wanted to help she wouldn’t accept their aid. She felt she was going to get betrayed again. She didn’t know how many times that would make it, she had lost count.

She refused help when she needed it, she stood by herself because she thought that the only person in the world who didn’t want to hurt her, was herself.

And now she is all alone, wallowing in the loneliness. She realized that she had caused her own solitude. Then she realized that there was no way out for her now. If she trusted anyone, she feared that she’ll get hurt. If she was all alone, she’d get hurt.

There once lived a very silly girl. What a silly girl she was.

END.
So I wrote this when I was feeling down, a few months back. I just saw it sitting there in my writing folder so I thought- eh, what the hell. :iconmingplz:
