Finding Out

1. SoulSilver



"Silvy!~" Kotone called out happily.

"Hm?" Silver replied, his eyes never leaving the morning paper.

"I baked some cake, here!" The brunette placed not a slice, but the entire cake onto the dinning table.

Silver stared at the peculiar-designed cake. The cake was in two halves, one part covered in blue frosting, and the other part in pink. And right in the center, the was a huge question mark made with white whipped cream.

"What the?" Silver stared intensely at the cake.

"When you see that what pops into your head?" Kotone giggled.

"Woman the only idea I get from this is that you're preg-"

Realization hit Silver like a ton of bricks. He looked at his wife with eyes as wide as saucers. His mouth hung open, and his face struck with disbelief.

Kotone's face looked radiant as the morning sun shone through the kitchen windows. Her wedding ring was neatly worn on her left ring finger, and she wore a heart-warming smile.

Silver abruptly stood up. "I- I..." He stuttered.

"You're going to be a daddy yaay!"~ Kotone gleefully clapped her hands.

"D-Daddy..." Silver went paler by the second.

"I'm going to be... a daddy..." Silver repeated.


THUD!


"SILVER?!"



2. Twinleaf



"How do I say it?" Hikari paced backwards and forwards.

"Jun, I'm pregnant?" She tested those words, to see how they felt.

"No, no, no... that's too plain..." Hikari shook her head.

"Um, Jun you're going to be a father?" She tried again.

"Ah, no... that's not it either." She let a out a tired sigh.

"How about: Jun please take responsibility?"

"Gah, I'm making it sound like an accident!" Hikari scolded herself.

"Hikari!"

Hikari jolted as Jun called her from downstairs.

"Y-yeah?!" She replied shakily.

Hikari then heard footsteps coming up the stairs. Jun then opened the bedroom door, a worried look on his face.

"Breakfast is ready, not gonna eat?" Jun said, spatula in hand.

"E-eh? Ah, yeah.."Hikari nodded.

"What's wrong? Is it the baby?" Jun asked, genuine worry on his face.

Wait...what?!

"H-how did you know?!"

"Oh I saw your pregnancy test box in the trash."



3. Frantic



"Ruuuuby." Sapphire moaned.

"What is it, Sapph?" He asked as he looked over to his wife, lazily sprawled out on the living-room couch.

"My stomach huuurts." She whined again, slowly turning over.

"That's because you ate too much Qualot-berry ice cream." Ruby answered, tying his apron and heading into the kitchen to cook dinner.

Sapphire let out a grunt and flipped on the tv, just in time to watch the game.

Honestly, if anyone would walk-in and see the married couple, they would think that the role of the husband is being done by the wife and the role of the wife is being done by the husband.

"Ruby, it hurts!" Sapphire flailed her arms.

"Maybe you're pregnant." Ruby joked, his chuckles could be heard all the way from the kitchen.

.......

"Congratulations Mr.Petalburg! The due date is on 14th March next year." The doctor smiled, handing Ruby the test results.

Ruby turned to Sapphire, who was sitting quietly. About to open his mouth, he was quickly silenced when his darling wife screamed:

"Ya jinxed me, ya damn sissy!"



4. Ego



"Hey Oak! Massage my shoulders." Misty snapped her fingers, calling the young researcher as if he were her slave.

Gary sighed, glumly walking over and massaged the young redheaded gym leader's shoulders.

He found out yesterday that his beloved wife was pregnant. And eventhough the water-specialist was only a few days into her pregnancy, she cheekily used this to her advantage and made him her personal butler.

"I'm thirsty. Bring me lemonade." She ordered.

"Yes, dear." Gary said, sarcasm dripping from his voice.



5. Dualrival



"Bianca." Cheren stared at his childhood friend and now precious spouse as she hurriedly ate her dinner.

"Hmm?" She chowed down, not even looking at her husband.

"D-don't you think... that you've been eating alot lately?" Cheren asked, amazed at the sheer speed she cleaned her plate.

"Well ofcourse, silly! I'm eating for two, after all." Bianca stated coolly.

Cheren choked on his dinner.

"W-WHAT?!" He asked completely and utterly surprised.

"Oh, did I forget to mention that?"



6. Original



Green swiftly hopped off his Pidgeot, at the summit of Mt. Silver. Calling his trusty companion back, he had to squint to find Red's cave in the harsh-blowing wind.

Green quickly picked up his pace, running into the cave.

"Red?" He called out, wiping the snowflakes from his messy hair.

Red didn't answer, instead just waved at the brunet gym leader while sitting next to the fire.

Red then patted the ground next to him, beckoning Green over.

"What is it?" Green sat next to Red, warming his hands at the fire.

"I have some news." Red said nonchalantly.

"Is that so? Just what news could a deranged man sitting on top of a deserted Mountain very far away from civilization possibly give?" Green reacted sarcastically.

Red rolled his eyes, then got up. He walked further into the cave, and came back with something behind his back.

"What are you planning?" Green asked, eyeing his childhood friend suspiciously.

Red then brought the object from behind his back, revealing an egg.

"You're going to be a father, Green."



7. Ferriswheel



"N..." White coughed awkwardly.

"What is it, my dearest White?" N smiled happily.

"This is really important... so... um, you have to listen carefully." White advised.

"Oh, okay." N immediately stopped what he was doing, and paid full attention to the Unova champion.

"You see, N... I'm pregnant." White looked downwards, hiding her face.

"..."

Only silence was heard.

White looked up, disappointed.

"S-say something." She stuttered in worry.

"Um, White..." N started.

"Y-yeah?"

"What is this 'pregnant' you speak of? Is it a game like tag when you say 'I'm it'?"
